Doggie Pizza Recipe
Updated: Sep 18, 2018
If you’re super extra about your dog, you’re in the right place! I love pizza so it was only natural that I would want to make pizza for Zimi too!
Before anything else, I’d like to add a disclaimer here. I did not try Zimi’s pizza, haha. I made a separate pizza for myself and sincerely don’t have the desire to try Beggin Strips. Curiously enough, the number one question I’ve received since I posted this video is “How did the Beggin Strips taste?” Everyone will be happy to know that I made my own pizza and Zimi had her own pizza.
Here’s the link to the original recipe that I followed to create Zimi’s pizza treats.
Welcome back doggie chefs! If you’re like me and have watched way too many cooking shows on TV and are obsessed with your dog, you’re in the right place.
I have always been a dog person. I cannot remember a time when I didn’t absolutely love dogs. My passion for animal rescue began in college when I joined a club that worked with a local animal rescue group called Animal Lifeline. This program took off and is now called Rescue Rebuild. We would travel to animal shelters all over the US and help them in whatever way they needed most. We built kennels, painted walls, built dog and cat beds, brought toys and different donations. I couldn't imagine spending my breaks from colleges in any other way. It really changes your view of the world when you meet new people and get your hands dirty together for a good cause.
I would recommend this to anyone who has time on their hands. There are always shelters that need extra helping hands. I’ve included some photos below as inspiration to help a cause that’s worth it.
That’s all I have for today, but I want to hear from you. What causes and organizations are you passionate about? What lead you to want to volunteer your time?
*Also remember that these are meant to be treats and not a substitute for their regular meals. If you have any concerns, please consult your vet before trying new foods for your dog.
